Abstract :
Comparative infestation of six cotton cultivars (IR-CIM-443, IR-CIM-448, IR-FH-901, CIM-443, CIM-448 and FH-901) was investigated against bollworms complex i.e. spotted bollworms (Earias spp.) american bollworm (Helicoverpa armigera) and pink bollworm (Pectinophora gossypiella) at the Postgraduate Agricultural Research Station (PARS), Faisalabad, Pakistan. Bt transgenic varieties IRCIM-443 and IRFH-901 were less infested by spotted, american and pink bollworms while non-Bt varieties CIM-448 and FH-901 were found susceptible to the bollworms.
