Abstract :
An experiment was conducted to evaluate virulence potential of Verticillium lecanii (V17), Paecilomyces fumosoroseus (n32), Metarhizium anisopliae (M440), (M443), (M408), (L5) and (L6) against adults of cabbage aphid, Brevicoryne brassicae L. under laboratory conditions at Department of Agri. Entomology, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, during spring 2008. All fungal isolates caused significant mortality against adults of aphid, B. brassicae after 3, 5, and 7 days of conidial treatments. The fungal isolate V. lecanii (V17) was found to be the most virulent among investigated fungal isolates followed by M. anisopliae (L6), P. fumosoroseus (n32) and M. anisopliae (M440) against the aphid. M. anisopliae (M443) and M. anisopliae (M408) were least effective against adults of the aphid.
