Letter from the Editor

It is with great pleasure that we welcome the new Editorial Board of EMHJ, with Dr Belgacem Sabri as the Chair of the Board and Editor-in-Chief. Dr Sabri is presently Director of the Division of Health Systems and Services Development in the WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean. He has a vast experience of public health, health systems research, health economics and human resources management. Dr Sabri has published several valuable papers on equity in access to health services using the social determinants of health approach and regional research findings. We look forward to the further success of EMHJ in the very capable hands of Dr Sabri and the other highly talented members of the Editorial Board. The names of our esteemed Editorial Board members can be seen on the third page of every issue.
