Abstract :
جمعت 120 عينة من افواه الأطفال المصابين بداء السلاق الفمي والذين تراوحت أعمارهم بين حديثي الولادة ولغاية 10 سنوات للمدة بين شهر حزيران 2004 حتى كانون الأول 2004 . شخصت خمسة أنواع عائدة لجنس المبيضات هي Candida albicans و
C.tropicalis
و C.kefyr و
C.glabrata و C.guillermondii وستة انواع بكتيرية وهي Staphylococcus aureus و
S.epidermidis
و Streptococcus pyogenes و
S. pneumoniae
و Escherichia coli و .Klebsiella spp . استخلص زيت حشيشة الليمون بطريقة التقطير المائي
Hydrodistillation ، واستخدمت طريقة الانتشار بالحفر Agar Well Diffusion Method لدراسة تأثير المستخلص الزيتي لحشيشة الليمون في تثبيط نمو الخمائر والبكتريا المعزولة، اذ بلغت اعلى نسبة تثبيط 100% للمستخلص الزيتي عند التركيز 20% لجميع انواع المبيضات المعزولة في حين تفاوتت نسب التثبيط بالنسبة للبكتريا عند هذا التركيز حيث بلغت
35.7 % و34.5
% و 28.3
% ضد البكتريا Staphylococcus aureus و Streptococcus pyogenes و Escherichia coli على الترتيب.

120 samples were collected from children who infected with oral thrush. The age between new bron and 10 years with the proide June 2004 unlit Dec 2004. Five candida species which belong to C.albicans; C.tropicalis; C. guillermobdii; C.glabrata; C. kefyr and six bacteria isolated which is Staphylococcus aureus; S. epidermidis; Streptococcus pyogenes; S. pneumoniae; Escherichia coli; Klebsiella spp. The oil extracted by hydrodistillation method using Glvengar apparatue; agar well diffusion method were used to study the effect oil extract against yeasts and bacteria isolated, the highest percent of inhibition was 100% for all candida species within 20% concentration of lemon grass and 35.7%, 34.5% and 28.3% for Staphylococcus aureus; Streptococcus pyogenes and Escherichia coli respectively with in 20% concentration.
