Abstract :
This study foxed the line on the effect of Lactobacillus acidophilus concentrated filtrate on sperm head abnormality. The result showed that Lactobacillus acidophilus concentrated filtrate caused a significant decrease in sperm head abnormality for all doses (250, 500 and 750 mg/kg) in comparison with negative and positive controls, and revealed that cyclophosphomide showed significant mutagenic actions on the biological system of treated mice by increased frequencies of sperm-head abnormalities were observed. The results of post-treatment by concentrated filtrate also caused a significant decrease in sperm head abnormality, in contrast, the pre-treatment caused non significant decrease in sperm head abnormality in comparison with the corresponding control
