Abstract :
Electron ionization mass spectra of 3-(2 ,4 -dichlorophenylisocoumarin(1), 2-(2 ,4- Dichlorobenzoylmethyl) benzoic acid (2), (dl)-3-2(2 , 4 -dichlorophenyl)-3,4-dihydroisocoumarin(3),3-(2 -chloro-6 -fluorobenzyl)isocoumarin (4), 2-[2 -cxo-3 -(2-chloro-6-fluorophenyl) propyl] benzoic acid (5), (dl)-3-(2-chloro-6- flourobenzyl)-3,4-dihydroisocourmarin (6), methyl 2-[2 -oxo-3 -(2-chloro-6-fluorophenyl)propyl] benzoate (7), are descride in this paper. The major mass fragments formed by ring contractions and α -cleavage followed by the elimination of neutral fragments and radicals. The mass fragments are designed with the help of EIMS peaks
