  • Abstract
    Locally produced DMSA-III tagged with Tc-99m was not providing proper renal scanning images and showed instability problem. By using D-Mannitol in place of Myo-Inositol as stabilizer, stability of ligand in kidney enhances, kit remains intact with its contents for three months (period of study). Dissolving DMSA ligand in NaOH, initial turbidity problem with SnCl2.2H2O also vanish, freeze dried (for 24 hrs) form looks sound and compact.
