Abstract :
This article deals with Ömer Pasha’s Muhallefât, the governor of Malatya who also belonged to the Rişvan tribe. Ömer Pasha was appointed governor of Malatya between 1770 and 1783, governor of Marash between 1783 and 1785, and the governor of Malatya in 1785, a position he occupied until his death in 1791. Ömer Pasha’s law estate is examined through finance registers classified under registry no. 9720, with special focus on pages between 200 and 205 in addition to other archive records. The issues under examination are the allocation of Ömer Pasha’s confiscated estate implementation, the ways of confiscation, and the sales of Ömer Pasha’s property. Also detail information will be given about the registers related to law estate. Ömer Pasha’s estates and real estates, groyne, valuables, jewelry, property and belongings will be taken into consideration through such means.
