The Relationship between Population and Land in Turhal in the 15th and 16th Century

This study will examine the change in the population rate of the town of Turhal between the years 1455 and 1574, and its effect on arable land. Within this framework, it is questioned whether there is a population pressure upon the arable land based on four Turhal tax registers belonging to the aforementioned years.
