First Local Spiritual Foundation in the Ottomans: The Effect of Hacı Bayram Velî and the Bayramiyye Order on Anatolia

This study examines the life of Hacı Bayram Velî and the impact of him, and the Bayramiyye doctrine in Anatolia. In so doing, the study first gives a short summary of his life at the beginning. Then, it focuses not only upon the methods by which Hacı Bayram Velî taught the caliphs but also upon the view of how his sect became widespread, together with the Bayramiyye places. Finally, the study explores social, cultural, political and scientific impacts of Hacı Bayram Velî and the Bayramiyye doctrine in Anatolia
