Abstract :
Hinchak and Dasnaktsutyun, leading Armenian committees, carried out its operations intensively in company with the Allies in order to found an independent state. One of the prominent activities was to recruit voluntary soldiers to fight on Allies’ side, especially for Russia and obtain all sort of information about the Ottoman State and report them to the Allies. The Ottoman State reacted to those subversive activities done by the committees and it tried to identify them and prevent potential damages. The Ottoman State particularly benefited from the hired Armenian informers. On the other hand, it is crucial to state that Russia benefited not only from the Armenians, but also the Turks in getting information about the Ottoman State. Accordingly, Romania was an important place where Hinchak and Dasnaktsutyun committees carried out their operations. The operations of the mentioned committees were studied in this paper
