Abstract :
Facility management is the management of buildings, physical plant and services, it s like property management but the focus is the management of buildings and services Which including Maintenance, administrative services, space management, architectural services and facility planning. Most organisations have complex arrangements between existing facilities, processes, and systems with gaps and overlaps that reduce the efficiency and many buildings, especially the public ones suffering from disorder and lack of integration between buildings, systems and management aspects; all of which reflects directly on efficiency of this building. When solutions were adapted to solve problems, they were single oriented, either from a construction point of view, or an economical but not bearing in mind the management aspects, the requirements to solve the right problems takes precedence over solving the problem right. Therefore this study attempts to address the above-mentioned realities, to document them, and to clarify their positive and shortcomings aspects. This study discusses the background and principles of facility management and experience of successful management projects to presents new methodology or recommendation to improvement Efficiency of office buildings and create a new set of solutions and suggestions it s also provides the basis for facility management as a science that can help the architects and support the quality customer services.
