Analysis of Problems and Expectations of Children Living in Children’s Home

The research aims to determine the problems and expectations of the children living at the children s home. For this purpose, 15 children were included in the study who are in the age group of 10-18 and living in the children s homes in Erzincan. As a data collection tool is used semi-structured interview form developed by researcher. Participants responses were analyzed through the descriptive analysis method. As a result of the research, children stated the problems they faced as follows; conflicts / debates with peers, the existence of strict rules, the inefficacy of teachers helping the classes, and the caregivers taking side, on the other hand the children stated their expectations as follows; organizing a warmer home environment, supplying technological products, the inclusion of sporting and artistic activities, the enhancement of vocational courses in terms of diversity and quality, and the improvement of the physical conditions of the house.
