Letter to the Editor: Microbes fight for survival, are we aware of the danger?

Madam, in this age when our western friends are protected from deadly infectious diseases, we are still surrounded by the microbial world, which claims millions of lives every year. Since the appearance of Antibiotics in early twentieth century, they had been a great service to the human race. These drugs are among the most important tools which enabled man to get rid of Infectious diseases. A recent issue regarding these drugs is the emergence of resistance by microbes, and it is now becoming a challenge for the 21st century.
