Editorial: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the fourth leading cause of cancer death worldwide, and prognosis remains unsatisfactory when the disease is diagnosed at an advanced stage. Sorafenib resistance is one of the main obstacles to the treatment of advanced HCC.
