Biografi Haji Mohd Said dan sejarah penulisan tafsir Nur al-Ehsan

Haji Muhammad Said is one of the Malay Muslim Scholar who was born in 1275M in Kedah. He gained his first knowledge in Islamic Religion from his father Haji Umar Khatib. A few years later he was sent to Patani and later to Meccato continue his study in the same area. Upon his return, he was appointedas a Qadhi (Muslim Judge) in Kedah. He spent almost all his life in giving lectures and Islamic consultations toward the society. His book Tafsir Nur al-Ehsan is one of his many contributions to masses.
