Abstract :
The reported study has been undertaken to check about 200 freshwater fish samples from Kafr –Elshiekh and El-Behera farms and 20 Samples from poultry manure (sablah) as fish farm feed. We isolate Vibrio Species from fish and poultry manure and found that there are 3 strains from vibrio common between fish and poultry manure (Vibrio anguillirum,Vibrio vulnificus , and finallyVibrio Parahaemolyticus) which is the more dominant strain between fish and poultry manure samples. Also we apply Enterobacterial Repetitive Intergenic Consensus sequences PCR(ERIC-PCR)finger print of random samples of Vibrio Parahaemolyticus isolated from fish (Oreochromis Niloticus )(4 samples )and poultry manure (5 samples)to show the similarity of both .The obtained results revealed that there is a minor role of poultry manureused as fish farm feed in transmission of VibrioParahaemolyticus to fish farms which eat infected poultry manure ( only one sample is similar between fish and poultry manure) about (11%)only. This research create a fact that poultry manure is not the main cause of V.parahaemolyticus infection in fish but it play a role in transmission of bacteria that’s will require more studies and new searches.
