Abstract :
The aim of this research is to define the effect of a Public Health program called developed for the women in rural areas on women s health risk perceptions and behaviours of health. The study group is composed of female literate trainees of Public Education Centre in Köprüören Village of Kütahya who are above the age of 15. The data were collected through a questionnaire, the interviews and focus group studies. After completing the 20-day training program, during which one training program was conducted a day, the tests were conducted on the participants again as post-test 10 days later. Consequently, it was found that the 20-day education program was successful.
