Abstract
The aim of this research is to determine the views of elementary school students about mind mapping technique which used in Social Studies. The method of the research is content analysis.This research was conducted 16 students who have been studied at fifth grade in Köprüköy Primary School. Views of the students have been obtained with semi structured interview form. Content analysis has been done via NVivo8 program. As a result of the implementation, it has been revealed out that the most enjoyable part of the lesson in which mind mapping technique has been used is while they are using picture, shapes and symbol making suitable with the key words.
