Abstract :
This study is aimed to evaluate the relationship between intelligence types of high school students and their attitudes towards environmental. This research was conducted using the correlative survey method. The sample of the research comprises 247 high school students attending four high schools in Siirt. The scale of Multiple Intelligence Areas Inventory developed by Armstrong (1999) and translated into Turkish language by Saban (2002) and attitudes towards environmental scales that have environmental behaviors and environmental thought sub-dimensions that were developed by Uzun and Sağlam (2006) were used as data collection instrument of this study. According to findings of the research, it is determined that high school students’ attitudes towards environmental on medium level. According to findings of the study, highest intelligence areas of the high school students in context of the multiple intelligence theory were determined as visual intelligence.
