Abstract :
Dr. Turkish-Islamic Literature The chronological projections and classifications, which are made toward backward in history, may fail to reflect the complexity of human world in which the cultural relations are collated. The reason for this possible failure is that the dominant perception, namely an individual who creates his own identity in the framework of the paradigm of the age, can immediately not accept the premises offered by time and conditions. Human beings keep their historical identity by collating former traditions with the new ones. From our perspective, it is possible to conclude as following: tradition is a thick-veined line, and the aptitude of overturning its taboo, again, is production of human beings who were educated by tradition, in other words, the output of the system. Even though, such as primitive, it is intended to keep away the distinct expressions or actions from the circle/center, it is possible that anything that dissent to tradition may become a kind of new tradition. In general, Westernization and secularization launched with Tanzimat (Regulations), first, were effective in political and social spheres, and then reflected its effects in the literal world. The cases of First and Second Schools are important in terms of exhibiting both the alternation of traditional codes and the various reflections of the change.
