چگونگي شخصيت و رابطه حسام الدين چلبي با سلطان ولد

Ḥusām al-Dīn Chalabī was one of the devoted companions of Mawlānā Rumi and one of hisvicegerents. Mawlānā paid great attention to him and after his death Chalabi was respected bySulṭān Walad, Mawlānā’s son, more than before. Sulṭān Walad considered Chalabī as his father’s representative and also as a spiritual guide whom he respected until and even after his death. Chalabi respected Sulṭān Walad in return and also protected him all the time. This article discusses the reflection of Ḥusām al-Dīn’s personality and his relationship with Walad. Discussed in this study are such topics as Ḥusām al-Dīn’s personal qualities, relationship between the spiritual guide and his disciple, vicegerency, the union of spirits and Walad’s feeling of sorrow upon Chalabī’s passing away in his poetry.
