Abstract :
In the last years of the Ottoman Empireand in the first periods of the Republic of Turkey, there are important problems in the Turkish family and educational institutions. Turkish family and educational institutions have started to deteriorate and have not renewed itself. Thetrend towards foreign education institutions has increased. Therefore, Turkish children have begun to move away from their own culture and national identity in foreign education institutions. America has some imperialist ambitions over Turkey. America used the education institution as a tool to achieve these goals. In this context, America tried to remove Turkish children from Turkishness and Islamism with missionary schools he opened in our country. Müfide Ferit Tek, in her novel “Pervaneler”, focused on there moval of Turkish children from their identity by Western missionary schools.
