ORGANIZATION AND ORDER RELATIONS IN TURKISH WORD DERIVATION

The methods of word derivation and adding words to the field of use or ways of improving vocabulary are discussed in various topics. The ways of making words in Turkish are examined in the topics such as derivation, combination, fitting, becoming stereotyped, scanning, compilation, abbreviation, analogy, borrowing, folk etymology, karma, and so on. Derivation which puts Turkish into the category of agglutinating language between world languages is actually a structure feature and this structure is represented by the “root + derivational morpheme” organization. Sequences that diversify this founder structure are remarkably diverse. The aim of this study is to show the diversity based on two-unit schemes in the constructive structure. For this purpose, two unit words in the Turkish Dictionary are included in the review. In Turkish Dictionary, there are 92.292 words in lexical entry and internality. In this study, the ways and possibilities of Turkish in word derivation will be put forward by grouping the words derived from the Turkish roots according to the affixes and giving additional sequence involved in derivation. In the meantime, “core structure” inspired by “deep structure” naming of organization and order relations for Turkish will be evaluated based on derivation that is a process of construction.
