Peranan Guru Kanan Mata Pelajaran Dalam Mempertingkatkan Kualiti Pengajaran Guru-guru

The main focus of subject leaders is to ensure how students learn to achieve excellent academic performance. To fulfil this, how successful subject leaders need, themselves, to be aware what constitutes effective teaching and learning and to understand how teaching and learning within a subject area can be enhanced and improved. To deliver a subject successfully to all students in a school, subject leaders have to work with other staff. This paper discusses this aspect and considers how subject leaders may help their colleagues to evaluate and develop their repertoire of teaching strategies. This process involves extending teachers’ classroom skills and contributes to the building of a rigorous reflection on practice.
