Abstract :
The temperature dependence of the Cl nuclear quadrupole resonance (NQR) frequency in CH3NH3Hg2C15 was investigated for temperatures between 77 and 340 K where three frequencies were found. The Zeeman effect on the NQR of 35 Cl in a crystalline powder ofA CH3NH3Hg2C15 was studied. The asymmetry parameter (eta) of the electric field gradient for the second frequency was obtained.
