Abstract :
In human life work and family lives have been defined as the two most important parts, and the interaction between these two parts are largely affect the work and general life of the people. For this purpose, the concept work family spillover, which has a holistic viewpoint on the relationship between work and family lives, is used in the current study. The dimensions of work family spillover and the effects of work family spillover on job and life satisfaction were examined. Data were collected from the human resource professionals and managers via a social media network. Results suggested that negative work family spillover dimensions effect job and life satisfaction negatively. On the other hand, it was found that positive work-family spillover increases job and life satisfaction, while positive family-work spillover increases only life satisfaction, but does not affect to the job satisfaction significantly. According to the findings, suggestions have been developed for researchers and practitioners.
