Abstract :
Magazines and comics are two teenager s favorite medias in Malaysia. In fact, teen magazines and comics consumed the largest fraction of magazines and comics space as compared to women and entertainment magazines. However, it seems there are a lot of foreign cultural influences in those magazines and comics. This study analyzes the content of those magazines and comics in the market. It focuses on the language, values, styles and way oflife arising in those magazines and comics. The analysis also focuses on the presentation ofarticles, dialog usage, and the choice of words as well as characters, images, signs and symbols. This study found that there are many teen s magazines and comics in this country which have aborted various foreign elements.
