ISLAMIC VALUES IN COMIC MAJALAH DEWAN PELAJAR

The relationship of Islamic values in our daily life across disciplines. It was found that Islamic values appearing in literary works not only on the genre of prose, even in magazines and comics. Hence, this paper will to prove that the medium of comics were contain Islamic values that can educate readers, especially children. Based on the comic Di dan Pi as well as comics DP in Majalah Dewan Pelajar in the comic Majalah Dewan Pelajar at 2012, 2013 and 2014. Majalah Dewan Pelajar is published by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka has become the magazine in class since 1990 again as reading material for children. This study is also divided into two, namely human relationship with Allah (habl’ min Allah) and human relationship with human (habl’ min al- Nas) ain to provide more clarification of Islamic values. This is a main part in theory Takmilah which is human relationship toward Allah is a vertical and human relationship with human is a horizontal as the basis of this studies. The framework of Ihya Ulumiddin also applies to further this studies with four main part in this book. Found that human relationship toward Allah includes worship while human relationship with human covers daily work, actions that lead to destroy and rescue. Based on this study, Islamic values contained in the comic closely retated to the human relationship with human compared than relationship with Allah.
