Abstract :
Preschool period is an important period that personalities of children are formed. Usingexteriors as the education environment during the learning process is an important toolsupporting the physical, social, emotional and cognitive developments of children. These areasmust be shaped so as to support the development of children through multidisciplinary efforts, by also taking expectations of children, parents and school administration. Participation ofchildren is an important aspect of these efforts. Active participation of children is importantfor raising participative individuals with well-developed consciousness for co-operation andwho are able to protect their own rights, who respect others’ rights, and who are aware of theirown capabilities. Within the scope of this technical note, it is aimed to assess and to share opinions and information with the experts for the proposed project which is developed with a nature-friendlyunderstanding based on children’s participation with an objective of increasing the quality ofpreschool education.
