GÖRSEL SANATLAR EĞİTİMİNDE STANDART KAVRAMI

Standards, that are one part of our daily life, have been had an important role as a criterion for developing. Standardization works in education sector have started to show itself in visual art education area. Visual arts education standards have introduced a difference because, in the end, they speak powerfully to two fundamental issues that pervade all of education – quality and accountability. In this way Standards help ensure that the study of the arts is disciplined and well focused, and that arts instruction has a point of reference for assessing its results. Besides, visual arts education lesson have values that will help to evaluate outcomes. The aim of this research is to bring up the necessity of quality standards of visual art education and to represent studies in this area and to discuss about these studies.
