Abstract :
Pedagogical skills subjects have started to given to the students at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences again in order to gain the teaching knowledge and skills since 2010-2011 education years. Thus, two resources have been appeared and this has led to various discussions. One of the topics for discussion is the attitudes of students at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences towards the teaching profession. In this context, this research was done to provide scientific data to these discussions. Faculty of Arts and Sciences students’ step of learning, gender, education department, graduated high school, residence before coming to the university and choosing the education faculty at his/her university choices or not and such variables like this and including 38 proposals “ Teaching Profession Attitude Scale” with attitudes towards teaching profession were determined.The research scope was consisted of 214 graduated students at third grade had pedagogical formation subjects in 2010-2011 years fall semester at Kırıkkale University. In the statistical analysis determined that the students’ attitudes were differed in various variables
