COMPARING GOALS, CONCEPTS AND ACTIVIES OF SCIENCE PROGRAMS DEVELOPED BY THE TURKISH MINISTRY OF EDUCATION IN 1968, 1992, 2000 AND 2004

In our age, science and technology develops are improving rapidly. Parallel to these developments, important changes were made in Turkish Education System. With the decision taken by Ministry of Education in 2004 Turkey, science- in primary schools was constructed again and it was turned into science-technology-society. In this article, the programs Science and Nature in 1968; Science in 1992-2000; Science and Technology in 2004, prepared by Education Ministry for primary schools, are compared in terms of program’s goals, concepts and activities.
