Abstract :
In this study was to determine learning styles of students from science teacher education and to find out any differences their academic achievements taking into account their learning styles. In addition, it was investigated whether any connection between students’ learning styles and gender. This study participated in 184 students from Erzincan University Faculty of Education in 2007-2008 academic year. The Findings showed that 39.7 % of the students were converger, 34.2 % of students were assimilator, 10.9 % of the students were accommodator, and 15.2 % of the students were diverger. There was not any connection between students’ learning styles and gender. There was not any difference between students’ grade point average as to learning style.
