THE RELATIONS BETWEEN THE CONFLICT MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES EMPLOYED BY THE SPORTS CLUB MANAGERS AND THEIR PERFECTIONIST CHARECTERS

This study focused on the relations between the conflict management ctrategies employed by the Football Club Managers and their perfectionist characters. The participant group consisted of randomly- selected 207 football club managers various clubs. The study used as the data gathering tool the information form designed by the researcher, Perfectionism Scale and Conflict Management Strategies Scale. In data analysis, multiple regression analysis, independent samples t-test, one way analysis of variance test and Pearson Correlation Coefficient were used. The study found that perfectionist characteristics of the managers were significantly related to the strategies they used in conflict management. Some recommendations were made in the light of findings.
