Abstract :
Environmental problems that occur due to conscious and unconscious pollution of livingarea cause situation in many problems whose solution is quite difficult. Nations take variousprecautions for the solution of this problem. The first thing is to focus on rearrangement theirown education systems and policies for the solution of environmental problems. Consideringthis regulation of countries; in the study it was aimed to analyze the policies of environmentaleducation of nations such as Malawi, South Africa, Poland, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Turkey.In this study document analysis was used. Literature review was done with the environmentaleducation programs of countries which form the sampling. Resources obtained were organizedaccording to a specific norm, translated into Turkish and then common factors which effect environmental education were picked up. In this sense, features which are effective in theenvironmental education of countries were tried to be explained with the help of componentialanalysis table and descriptive analysis. As a result of these assessments, it was concluded thatmany factors have effects on environmental education of countries which form the sampling withTurkey and policy of environmental education of every country have different characteristics.
