Abstract :
The purpose of the study was to determine relationship between school administrators’organizational power sources and teachers’ job satisfaction. The sample of the study,which employed a survey research method, consisted of 249 teachers from high schools inKütahya. Data was gathered by Job Satisfaction Scale (Hackman and Oldham, 1975) andSchool Administrators’ Organizational Power Sources Scale (Zafer, 2008). MultivariateRegression Analysis was used to determine whether school administrators’ power sourcessignificantly predicted teachers’ job satisfaction. According to the obtained findings, the schooladministrators’ organizational power sources explained nearly one thirds of total variance ofthe teachers’ job satisfaction. According to t-test results of significance levels of regressioncoefficients, only reward power was a predictor of teachers’ job satisfaction.
