Abstract :
Drawing upon primary data gathered through self-administeredquestionnaire from banking and IT sectors, this study presents keyfactors that cause turnover intentions among talented employees inorganisations. Structural equation modelling (SEM) techniqueemployed in the study helped researchers predict that lack of clearcareer development and generates job dissatisfaction which causes jobstress in employees and they begin thinking to quit the organisation.This study reveals interrelationship among the factors stated aboveand contributes structural model to predict causes of employeeturnover at work. Study offers policy implications for decision-makingquarters to provide clear path of employee career development in theorganisation to enhance job satisfaction which reduces job stress andturnover intention at work.
