Abstract :
Dear Editor, We read the article ‘‘Prevalence of Pulmonary Hypertension in Patients Undergoing Hemodialysis’’ by Fadaii and coworkers with interest. The authors aimed to investigate the prevalence of pulmonary hypertension (PH) in patients undergoing hemodialysis. They concluded that PH is associated with duration of dialysis, age, and ejection fraction. They suggested that it is necessary to screen PH and minimize its effects due to the high prevalence of PH among hemodialysis patients.
