Abstract :
Osteoporosis is a chronic progressive bone disease in which bone resorpt ion exceeds bone formation, leading to a reduction in bone mineral density and disruption of bone microarchitecture. It becomes a serious health threat for postmenopausal women by predisposing them to an increased risk of fracture.
