Abstract :
Leprosy, one of the oldest diseases of mankind,caused by Mycobacterium leprae is endemic inmany tropical and sub-tropical countries includingBangladesh. It is estimated that 10-12 millionpeoples all over the world are affected1. Leprosy isa multisystem disease, predominantly affects theskin and nerves2. But it can affect lymph nodes,liver, spleen, bone marrow, eyes, nasal mucosa,hard and soft palate, larynx and testes. In leprosyespecially in lepromatous patients, various groupsof lymph nodes like the axillary, cervical,supratrochlear lymph nodes are affected3,4. Theenlargement of lymph node in leprosy maysimulate tuberculous or neoplastic etiology.
