Abstract :
This cross sectional analytic study by auto analyzer, performing M/H ratio, helps as a screening tool for thalassaemia trait in Bangladeshi population. Among total of 150 subjects, 50 known obligate carrier of beta-thalassaemia trait and 100 patients with hypochromia and microcytosis were included.
