Abstract
Let B be a Galois extension of an Azumaya algebra with Galois group G. Then B is characterized in terms of the commutator subring of B^G in B and the skew group ring B*G. Also an equivalent condition is given for B as a composition of two Galois extensions B⊃B^G C⊃B^G where C is the center of B
