Abstract :
The finding of a needle in the urethra is exceptionally rare. We report on a 13-year-old boy who presented with perineal discomfort of more than two-years duration associated with urinary frequency and dysuria. He was initially treated with antibiotics and antispasmodics for urinary tract infection and discomfort. Clinical examination revealed tenderness in the perineum.
