  • Abstract
    Alport s syndrome encompasses a group of heterogeneous inherited disorders involving the basement membranes of the kidney and fre­quently involves the cochlea and the eye. [4],[5] These disorders are the result of mutations in COL4A3, COL4A4, and COL4A5 collagen biosynthesis genes.
