Abstract :
The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between pre-school teachers’ attitudes towards the use of technological tools and their self-efficacy beliefs. A correlational survey model has been used in this research. The participants of the research are 174 pre-school teachers working in kindergartens in Balıkesir province. Personal information form, Self-efficacy beliefs scale of pre-school teachers and Attitude scale towards the use of technological tools in pre-school education have been used for data collection instrument. According to results of the research, it has been found that participants’ self-efficacy beliefs do not vary with regard to gender, professional experience and educational status. When the participants’ attitudes towards the use of technological tools have been examined with regard to professional experience and educational status, it has been found no significant difference but they differ with respect to gender. Besides, findings have revealed that there is a low-level and positive significant correlation between participants’ attitudes towards the use of technological tools and their self-efficacy beliefs.
