MORAL JUDGEMENT AS THE FOUNDATION OF RABBANI LEADERSHIP MODEL

Moral judgment which are able to develop a harmonious balance between the intellectual, emotional, and spiritual intelligence is the starting point for upgrading the potential of individual leadership. The moral judgment as the force of inner individual intelligence is ordained in the creation of man. A harmonious balance of intelligence by the individual s moral judgment adherence to godliness, humanism and professional development is the conceptual framework for Islamic leadership governed as rabbani leadership. Rabbani leadership is a manifestation of ulamak leadership, while at the same time posseses the neccessary knowledge and specific skills required of an organizational leader. This harmonious balance based on the adherence to godliness enables the leader to contribute to the harmony in the society. A leader will always lead his group to work for the good of mankind by balancing the covenant of Allah with the demands of man and his environment. The development of moral judgment is in line with the covenant of Allah in the creation of man, ie fitrah will result in leadership being the pillar for sustainable social development, in line and adherence to the tennets of al-Quran and as-Sunnah.
