Abstract :
This article aims to discuss four leadership practices among mosque’s committee chairman. Here are the leadership practices; inculcating good qualities, intimate relationship, knowledge culture, and management activities of the mosque. However, weaknesses in the management and leadership of the mosque committee previously contributed to a decline in prosperity of the mosque. This study applies quantitative methods to get a response after the data were collected through questionnaires, and a survey administered to a sample consisting of a chairman and members of the mosque committee. The results of this study showed that the level of leadership practices at a moderate level. These findings demonstrate the chairmen of mosques throughout Terengganu can lead to spiritual matters and the development of science. However, the leadership practices of mosque’s chairmen are less prominent in the areas of professional and efficient management.
