THE EFFECTIVENESS OF SI PINTAR AND SI MANIS AND KURA-KURA SONGS TOWARDS CHILDREN

Literature is a form of creative art delivered through language. Literary work also reveals the element of serenity that is considered as beautiful. Therefore, the folk songs are valuable treasures to a country. As such, this folk song is indirectly worthy of interest which is unique among the people, especially to children. This is because the folk song produced not only provides entertainment alone but also, each processing through the story line delivered is able to provide useful lessons to children. By that, this study will prove that the folk songs consist of importance and functions of education towards children in every way.
