Abstract :
There are studies that state teaching with simultaneous prompting (TSP) method which is one of the errorless teaching method in which response prompts are presented is effective on teaching individuals with disability simple and successive conducts (Morse Shuster, 2004). The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of TSP by the way of investigating postgraduate dissertations in Turkey examined its effectiveness on skill/concept teaching to individuals affected by disability. 20 postgraduate (2 PhD, 18 master’s) dissertations that were realized between 1999 and 2012 in Turkey in which the effectiveness of TSP on teaching simple and successive sub conducts to children with disabilities was examined were probed by descriptive and meta analysis. While descriptive analyses findings of the study related postgraduate dissertations proved that TSP is an efficient method on teaching simple and successive conducts to the children with disabilities, analysis results of the effect size obtained by meta analysis showed that TSP method is “effective”.
